Buying NF and EOTN
Hey all,
I currently have Proph and Factions campaigns and am considering buying NF and EOTN. The cheapest way to do so seems to be Amazon and buying all games in a bundle... but then I have duplicates that probably wont sell. I assume GW2 will be out next year before May sometime. Is it worth buying these 2 expansions? |

What you're buying when you buy any of the three campaigns is an account, not really the game itself. You won't be able to sell your account to someone else (or rather, it's against the EULA and no one smart should buy used accounts either). What you can do if you buy the complete collection, is to add the key code you get to your existing account. In effect, it will add just NF and EotN. You could also start a brand new account with your new complete collection and still use the other separately, as well. Pros and cons for going either way.
Edit: Oh yeah... it's worth getting the NF campaign and EotN expansion. That's where you get your heroes. Plus they're fun! Last edited by Shana Something; Dec 30, 2011 at 11:35 PM // 23:35.. Reason: Memory issues |

Nightfall grants you the use of heros and they are great for GW1. And EOTN expansion lets you transfer your achievements and reserve a character name for GW2 (will not psyically transfer the character over to GW2 though) so thats definatly worth having if your thinking about taking GW2 seriously.
EOTN and Nightfall also open up alot more skills for you to use as well. Nightfall will also give you another couple of professions which are the Dervish and Paragon and EOTN will grant you PvE only skills that are super great fun. My answer is YES I would go get them both, Guild Wars is a fantastic experience with the complete set. P.S there are alot more reasons why to buy both but these are the stand out reasons. |
